Depart for Watkins Glen in the morning
(Go only if time/traffic/weather permits) (Since the canyon is full of rocks and waterfalls, it will be closed on rainy days and in winter, and will only be open to the public from May to October each year. At the same time, due to the long distance to the waterfall, the driver's driving time is limited by law every day. In case of traffic jams or delays, the tour guide will decide based on the traffic conditions/weather of the day. For safety reasons, the company has the right to change or cancel this attraction.) Watkins Glen is located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, USA. It is one of the areas with the most concentrated waterfalls in the United States. It belongs to the stratified rock geology, which is eroded by glaciers and streams, forming a peculiar landform. It is considered one of the most magical landscapes in the world. In the approximately two-mile canyon, there are 400 feet of water. There are 19 waterfalls along its route, including the more famous Rainbow Falls and Iron Chain Falls. Here, you can overlook the canyon along the edge trail, hike through the mountain trails in the canyon, and enjoy the waterfalls up close. It was once loved by tourists and named this canyon "Millennium Valley". Watkins Canyon will be closed around 10/30/2024 and will be replaced by Corning Museum. Corning, a Fortune 500 company with more than 150 years of history, is the leader in the special glass and ceramic materials industry. It has the world's largest glass collection museum. Corning's glass in the United States is as important as Jingdezhen porcelain in China. You can also enjoy a live glass production show here.
