Day 1

Philadelphia - Mystic Aquarium - Newport - The Breakers

Connecticut and Rhode Island Tour

In the morning, we will depart from Philadelphia, head north, cross New Jersey and New York, and finally arrive at the most interactive marine research aquarium in Connecticut, Mystic Aquarium (60 minutes visit). The aquarium exhibits stories and steel relics at a depth of 12,450 feet after the sinking of the Titanic. In addition, the aquarium is the only place in the New England region of the eastern United States that displays four cute beluga whales over 30 years old, and visitors can take pictures with them face to face. There are also more than 50 kinds of fluorescent jellyfish here, and visitors can watch the performances of 4 California sea lions over 10 years old, and get close to blue lobsters, Antarctic penguins and manta rays.

Next, we will go to Newport, Rhode Island, and cross the famous Newport Bridge to the luxurious Harbourfront. This was once the summer resort of Cornelius Vanderbilt II and a symbol of wealth during the American Gold Rush. The resort has 70 rooms, and the overall architectural style is Italian Renaissance. Many of the decorations are handmade and shipped here by ship. The resort is backed by the sea, and the sound of waves hitting the cliffs is endless, hence the name "Harbourfront". Strolling here, you can feel the brilliance and luxury of European art.

【Mystic Aquarium】:

More than an aquarium, it's also an oceanographic institute. It's one of only three places in the U.S. that has Steller sea lions, and it also hosts the largest outdoor beluga whale exhibit in the U.S., which attracts many visitors.

【Tingtao Villa】:

Originally built as a summer retreat for Cornelius Vanderbilt II, the villa's design draws on the essence of the Italian Renaissance. All buildings and decorations are handmade in Europe, with a strong historical and artistic atmosphere. Walking through this magnificent villa, you will enjoy unparalleled art and natural scenery.
